Okay, what you need to do is put this recording of windchimes on a repeating loop on your MP3 player of choice. I guarantee it will act like white noise to cancel out your neighbor's irritating chimes.

(And sorry to say, if the screen writers go on strike, I won't be able to post here for the duration.)

Good luck!

White noise, of course, works well as white noise to cancel out the sound too.

IF you can find it, tune between stations on FM for some nice white-ish noise. It does work.

I bet they're the high/tinkly ones too, aren't they? Yuk.

Mccharlie: Interesting MP3 site there mister. Yeah, that solution could work. Have you been watching Martha Stewart again? Meanwhile, I tried filling my pants with ringtail monkeys and that canceled out everything.

Anonymous: I don't give anonymous enough credit. I get loads of thoughtful comments from anonymous. I want to send anonymous a case of beer for the contribution, but anonymous just prefers being anonymous.

Cocovan: why, anybody can have a brain! that's a very mediocre commodity. back where i come from we have universities, seats of great learning, where men go to become great thinkers. and when they come out, they think deep thoughts and with no more brains than you have. but they have one thing you haven't got: a diploma.

Polanski: as for you my fine friend, you're a victim of disorganized thinking. you are under the unfortunate delusion that simply because you run away from danger, you have no courage. you're confusing courage with wisdom. back where i come from, we have men we call heroes. once a year they take their fortitude out of mothballs and parade it down the main street of the city. and they have no more courage than you have. but they have one thing that you haven't got: a medal.
