Wow, I'm going to hire Iron Butterfly for my next swingin' house party!

I admit that back in the day (um, 5th grade at Vista Grande elementary) I was the pre-hip owner of two of their albums: "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", and its follow-up, "Ball". In retrospect, Doug Ingle was a more skilled organist than Ray Manzarek, but had weaker material to work with.

That Sharon Tate clip made me cry.

I saw the Sharon Tate clip years ago at the Museum of TV and Radio in Beverly Hills (now rendered essentially obsolete by YouTube). It's a sad and amazing clip on many levels.
